Toby Sauer nació y creció en el centro exacto de Montana. Sus padres eran maestros, pero de joven se empleó como peón de rancho y soñaba con ser vaquero. Comienza su día a las 4:00 de la mañana para poder pintar sin descuidar a su esposa e hijos. Su carrera artística, aunque a veces abrumadora y agotadora, también ha sido increíble y gratificante. Ha tenido la oportunidad de viajar por todo el oeste vendiendo sus pinturas en exposiciones y galerías, estudiar con otros artistas, recopilar material de referencia en algunos de los lugares más bellos del país y, por supuesto, conocer a personas increíbles e inspiradoras.
"Toby Sauer was born and raised in the exact center of Montana. His parents were both teachers, but as a young man he hired himself out as a ranch hand and dreamed of becoming a cowboy. Starting his day at 4:00 in the morning so he gets his painting time in while still having time for his wife and kids. His art career, while at times overwhelming and exhausting, has also been incredible and rewarding. He has gotten to travel all over the west selling his paintings at art shows and galleries, studying with other artists, collecting reference material at some of the most beautiful parts of the country, and of course meeting the most amazing and awe-inspiring people.”
